This page explains how you can request access to, or deletion of, personal data held by SingularityLock (“SingularityLock”, “we”, “our”, “us”) in connection with your use of the Service.
1. Overview
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:
- Request a copy of your personal data.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of certain data (“right to erasure”).
- Request restriction or objection to specific processing.
We take these rights seriously and will respond to all legitimate requests in accordance with applicable law.
2. How to Submit a Request
To request access, correction, or deletion of your data, please email:
hello@singularitylock.com
Include the subject line: “DATA REQUEST – [ACCESS / DELETION]” and provide:
- The email address you used with SingularityLock.
- Your full name (as used in the Protocol, if applicable).
- A clear description of what you are requesting (for example, “delete all associated check-in data”).
- Any relevant transaction IDs or dates, if available.
3. Verification
For security, we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. This may involve:
- Confirming access to the email address associated with your account or Protocol.
- Requesting non-sensitive details related to your usage (for example, approximate dates or Protocol type).
4. What We Can Delete
Subject to legal and operational constraints, we can generally delete:
- Account/profile information.
- Protocol configuration data (habit, duration, preferences).
- Check-in entries and associated proof uploads.
- Communication logs between you and our support team.
In some cases, we may retain limited information that we are legally required to keep or that we need for security, anti-fraud, or accounting purposes (for example, basic transaction records).
5. What We May Need to Retain
Even where you request deletion, we may retain certain data when we have a lawful basis, such as:
- Compliance with financial, tax, or regulatory obligations.
- Maintaining accurate records of payment transactions.
- Detecting and preventing abusive or fraudulent use of the Service.
- Establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims.
Wherever possible, such retained information will be minimized and, where appropriate, pseudonymized or anonymized.
6. Impact of Deletion on Your Protocols
If you request deletion of data while a Protocol is active, it may:
- Disable our ability to verify your compliance.
- Terminate your eligibility for any Conditional Performance Rebate.
We will explain any specific consequences before finalizing a deletion request, where reasonably possible.
7. Response Time
We aim to respond to all valid requests within a reasonable timeframe, and within any response periods required by applicable law. Complex or high-volume requests may take longer, but we will keep you informed.
